We first started offering lifting services back in the 1980s, and were delighted to return to this field back in 2017.

When it comes to lorry loader cranes we can offer either vehicle or trailer mounted options, both with impressive lift and shift capabilities.

Our operators are fully trained, ALLMI qualified and certified crane operators, slingers and signallers.

Our powerhouse is a Pesci 88 ton/meter knuckleboom crane, which is mounted on a Mac semi-low loader with outriggers and marker boards, with hydraulic rear ramps. The newest vehicle on fleet is our Volvo FH500 8X2*6.

Our 8 wheeled rigid truck (V24 LHS) has an 82t/m, front mounted, Fassi crane which can lift up to 16,400kg at 4.35m. It has a maximum reach of 16.15m and a carrying capacity of 7,500kg. This vehicle was custom ordered from Volvo with an extended front chassis which is designed to have extra crane leg stabilisers fitted, allowing us to remain stable when lifting and to achieve 98% of the crane’s lifting capacity over the front of the vehicle (something which is otherwise not possible). It also has an optional drawbar trailer which increases its carrying capacity to an overall 14,000kg, and as an 8x2*6 vehicle it is complete with heavy duty axles to prevent overloading. Three out of its four axles are steering axles, allowing for maximum manoeuvrability. The drawbar trailer has hydraulic ramps to the rear which allow loading of wheeled or tracked machinery, vehicles and plant equipment. The vehicle and trailer are fitted out with twistlocks and laxos for securing containers and cabins in transport, and it also boasts a hydraulically operated rear extender to increase its bed length for carrying long items. The vehicle is fitted with a 500 horsepower euro 6 engine which is the cleanest diesel engine available in this range, meeting all the current low emissions standards for operating in pollution controlled areas such as the London Ultra Low Emissions Zone.

Our trailer (LHS 22) boasts an 88t/m neck mounted Pesci crane which can lift 15,270kg at 4.80m. It has a maximum reach of 17.45m and a carrying capacity of 13,000kg. This vehicle has quick release hydraulic rear ramps which allow loading of wheeled or tracked machinery, vehicles and plant equipment but they can also be removed to allow for oversailing loads. This trailer is also fitted with laxo locks for securing containers and cabins in transport. Being a low loader trailer we can also carry items up to 3.9m tall.

Both our crane vehicles are fitted out with wide load marker boards and full vision alert safety lighting/markings.

Having the two specifications of crane equipment makes us really flexible when it comes to meeting the needs of our customers, and we can also combine them to carry out complex tandem lifts.
